Project "E-Marketing of Kaunas Lagoon and Nemunas Loops"

The goal of the project is to implement e-marketing measures to increase the attendance and awareness of the cultural and natural heritage objects in the municipalities (Kaišiadorys, Birštonas, Prienai, Kaunas city and Kaunas district municipalities).

The goal of the project is to create marketing tools and content for them in order to increase the relevance, attendance and awareness of cultural and natural heritage, and informative about the surrounding environment.

During the project, the following activities are implemented:

1. Communication in Social Networks (SMM);
2. Search engine optimization (SEO);
3. Google search engine;
4. Advertising on the Google Display Network;
5. Advertising on video networks;
6. Email marketing;
7. Mobile marketing;
8. Project website and administration;
9. E-marketing Content Creation.

Emerging e-marketing measures will aim at increasing the number of incoming tourists, reducing the seasonality of tourism, and increasing the awareness of cultural and natural objects. The project is implemented by the Kaisiadorys District Municipality Administration with its partners, the Public Affairs Office of Kaišiadorys Tourism and Business Information Center, the Kaunas City Municipality Administration, the Kaunas Regional Tourist and Business Information Center, the Birštonas Tourist Information Center, and the Prienai District Municipality Administration.

The total value of the project is 244 265,60 Eur.
The amount of support is EUR 207 625.76.
Contribution of the applicant and partners - 36,639.84 Eur.

Project implementation period: 29 July 2016 - 27 July 2018.

The project is financed from the funds of the European Union funds investment program for the period 2014-2020.
